Brian Petersen grew up at the Wichita Stockyards where his father worked. He has been a real estate agent in Wyoming and Kansas for the past 8 years and incorporated Lariat Realty LLC in 2020 when he obtained his Wyoming and Nebraska broker certification. A graduate of Kansas State University and University of Wyoming in agriculture, Brian went to the Missouri Auction School in 1981 and has been an auctioneer throughout the West since as Petersen Auction Service.

Lariat Realty specializes in personal property and real estate for residential, commercial and agricultural properties. Brian enjoys selling rural lifestyle properties and dealing in all types of antiques and collectibles. He owns a ranch outside of Laramie and enjoys roping and fishing/hunting.

Cynthia (Cindy) joined the United Country Lariat Realty LLC team in 2020 after receiving her agent credentials.

She relocated to Wyoming in 2019 after 25+ years in state government and private industry related to the agriculture and tourism industries. Cindy holds degrees (BS and MS) in agriculture and elementary education from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and West Virginia University. She teaches online agribusiness and tourism marketing courses  as an adjunct instructor.  In her spare time, she enjoys exploring Wyoming and watersports.
